James Bostick Peters, Jr.

Savannah- James Bostick Peters, Jr., 59, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014.

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 9, 1954 to James and Mary McGirt Peters. After graduating from Shamrock High School in Decatur, Georgia, he began his career in the Insurance Industry. Peters Enterprises Insurance Company was established in 1979. Jim has lived in Savannah since 1995. He was a good and kind hearted person. His ability to make people laugh and always think of others is what he was known for. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his only brother, John Chipman Peters.

Surviving is his wife of 19 years, Rhonda; daughters, Michelle, Vicki, and Jessica; sons, Chip and Jimmy, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2013 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
